NTT DATA seeks a skilled Cloud Migration Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring practical experience in migrating production servers and applications from on-premises or virtualized environments to public cloud platforms. We are particularly interested in candidates with robust Windows/Linux infrastructure backgrounds and direct involvement in migration projects.

Key responsibilities include executing server and workload migrations to AWS using tools like AWS Application Migration Service (MGN). You will conduct source server assessments, configure replication, perform test migrations, troubleshoot issues, and participate in migration wave planning. The role also involves executing production cutovers, post-migration validation, and hypercare activities. Collaboration with Technical Leads and application owners is essential, along with identifying opportunities for automation to enhance migration efficiency.

Mandatory technical skills include hands-on experience migrating Windows/Linux servers to AWS or other public clouds, along with practical experience in AWS services like EC2, EBS, VPC, and security groups. Proficiency with migration tools such as AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, or VMware HCX is required. Strong Windows/Linux administration, troubleshooting, and familiarity with VMware vSphere, networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP), and server replication processes are crucial. The ability to safely execute production changes following migration runbooks is also essential. A minimum of 6 years in IT infrastructure with at least 2 years focused on cloud migration or infrastructure is required.
