NTT DATA seeks a dynamic Cloud Migration Lead Engineer to spearhead enterprise migration projects, primarily to AWS, with Azure expertise being a valuable asset. This senior technical leadership role requires a blend of hands-on cloud expertise and the ability to guide migration teams through the entire project lifecycle, from initial discovery to post-launch support.

This position focuses on technical delivery and is distinct from pure solution architecture, consulting, or project management roles. You will be instrumental in driving successful cloud adoption for our clients.

As the Cloud Migration Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of cloud migration projects. This includes designing and validating migration strategies for various workloads, leading application dependency assessments, and planning migration waves.

You will also define workload migration approaches, facilitate technical discussions with clients, and ensure the readiness of the AWS Landing Zone. Troubleshooting complex migration issues, managing technical risks, and maintaining architecture documentation will be key aspects of this role. Mentoring engineers and improving automation are also expected outcomes.

We are looking for candidates with over 10 years of IT infrastructure and cloud technology experience, including at least 5 years focused on cloud migration delivery. A strong track record of leading production migrations to AWS is mandatory, along with deep expertise in core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and Route 53.

Proficiency with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and various migration tooling is essential. You should also possess solid knowledge of VMware vSphere, Windows/Linux operating systems, DNS, Active Directory, storage, and networking fundamentals. Experience in leading engineering teams and effectively communicating technical challenges to stakeholders is also required.
