Join NTT DATA as a Cloud Migration Lead Engineer, a pivotal role driving enterprise-wide cloud transitions. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise in AWS and strong leadership capabilities to guide migration teams from initial assessment through post-migration support. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful and efficient migration of complex workloads to the cloud, playing a crucial role in our clients' digital transformation journeys.

This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, emphasizing technical decision-making and client expectation management. It offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on large-scale migration projects and contribute to NTT DATA's reputation as a leader in cloud services.

Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of cloud migration projects, encompassing discovery, assessment, planning, execution, cutover, and hypercare phases.

Develop and validate comprehensive migration strategies for diverse environments, including VMware, physical servers, virtual machines, Windows/Linux workloads, and critical enterprise applications.

Orchestrate application dependency mapping, define migration wave sequencing, and develop robust rollback strategies while proactively managing technical risks.

Determine optimal workload migration approaches, such as rehosting, replatforming, and selective modernization.

Facilitate technical discussions with clients and collaborate effectively with Cloud Foundation, Migration Execution, Networking, Security, and application teams.

Evaluate AWS Landing Zone readiness and ensure alignment with connectivity, IAM, networking, security, and operational requirements.

Troubleshoot complex migration challenges and provide critical support during production cutovers.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients across multiple delivery teams.

Maintain accurate architecture decisions, migration runbooks, and technical documentation, ensuring adherence to stage-gate acceptance criteria.

Mentor junior engineers, validate technical estimates, and drive improvements in migration automation and repeatability.

Possess a minimum of 10 years of IT infrastructure and cloud technology experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to cloud migration delivery.

Demonstrated hands-on experience leading production migrations to AWS, ideally with exposure to multiple enterprise clients.

Exhibit strong AWS infrastructure expertise, including EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, AWS Backup, and related services.

Have practical experience utilizing AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and other relevant workload migration tools.

Show a strong understanding of VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux, DNS, Active Directory, storage, and networking concepts.

Experience with migration discovery processes, dependency mapping, wave planning, testing, and rollback strategies is essential.

Ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity, performance, replication, operating system, and application-related migration issues.

Understanding of AWS security principles, hybrid connectivity, IAM best practices, routing, and network segmentation.

Proven experience leading engineering teams and effectively communicating technical risks and mitigation plans to customers and stakeholders.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure migration, Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, CI/CD automation, advanced hybrid networking, and database migrations is advantageous.

Experience in regulated environments, security compliance, or complex enterprise transformations is a plus.
