NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Lead Engineer to drive enterprise workload migrations, primarily to AWS. This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on executing migrations from on-premises or virtual environments to public cloud platforms. A strong background in Windows/Linux infrastructure and direct experience with migration projects is essential.

Key duties involve executing server and workload migrations to AWS using tools like AWS MGN. Responsibilities include source server assessments, agent installation, replication configuration, and readiness checks. You will perform test migrations, validate workloads, troubleshoot issues, and participate in migration wave planning and cutover preparation. Post-migration validation and hypercare activities are also crucial. Additionally, you will troubleshoot various infrastructure components and contribute to documentation and automation efforts.

This position requires a minimum of 6 years in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years of hands-on cloud migration or cloud infrastructure experience. Essential technical skills include migrating Windows/Linux servers to AWS, experience with core AWS services (EC2, EBS, VPC, security groups, IAM), and familiarity with migration tools like AWS MGN or Azure Migrate. Strong Windows/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge of VMware and basic networking, are mandatory. Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and OS issues, and the ability to follow migration runbooks are critical. Direct involvement in real server or workload migrations is a key selection criterion.
