Join NTT DATA as a Cloud Migration Lead Engineer and drive enterprise workload migrations, primarily to AWS. Key responsibilities include executing server and workload migrations to AWS, configuring and operating migration tools like AWS Application Migration Service (MGN). You will perform source server assessments, manage replication, and conduct migration readiness checks. This role also involves executing test migrations, troubleshooting issues, and participating in migration wave planning and cutover preparation.

Further duties include performing production cutovers, post-migration validation, and hypercare. You will troubleshoot a wide range of infrastructure issues including operating systems, networking, storage, DNS, and Active Directory. Supporting migration runbook creation, technical documentation, and rollback procedures is also crucial. Collaboration with Technical Leads, Cloud Foundation Engineers, and customer application owners is expected, alongside identifying opportunities for migration automation and efficiency improvements.

This role requires a minimum of 6 years in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years of hands-on cloud migration or cloud infrastructure experience. Mandatory technical skills include practical experience migrating Windows and/or Linux servers to AWS or another public cloud. Proficiency in AWS EC2, EBS, VPC, security groups, and basic IAM is essential.

You should also have experience with AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, VMware HCX, or similar server migration technologies. Strong Windows Server and/or Linux administration and troubleshooting skills are required, along with knowledge of VMware vSphere or similar virtualization technologies. A good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting is necessary.

Familiarity with server replication, testing, cutover, rollback, and post-migration validation, as well as troubleshooting infrastructure and operating system issues, is key. Candidates must be able to follow migration runbooks and execute production changes safely. Experience with Azure VM migration and Azure Migrate is considered a plus.
