Join NTT DATA as a Cloud Migration Lead Engineer and drive enterprise migration projects. This role demands a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership to guide teams through complex cloud transitions, primarily to AWS, with Azure experience being a significant plus.

You will be instrumental in managing customer expectations and ensuring successful migrations from initial discovery to post-cutover support. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused technical leadership position.

Lead the complete technical delivery of cloud migration projects, encompassing discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and stabilization phases.

Develop and validate migration strategies for diverse environments including VMware, physical and virtual servers, and various operating systems and applications.

Orchestrate application dependency mapping, migration wave planning, sequencing, and risk management.

Define migration approaches such as rehost, replatform, and modernization.

Facilitate technical discussions with clients and coordinate efforts across Cloud Foundation, Migration Execution, Networking, Security, and application teams.

Review and ensure readiness of AWS Landing Zones, connectivity, IAM, networking, and security configurations.

Address and resolve complex migration failures and support critical production cutovers.

Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients across multiple delivery teams.

Maintain architectural decisions, migration runbooks, and technical documentation.

Mentor junior engineers, validate technical estimates, and champion automation to enhance migration processes.

A minimum of 10 years in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, with at least 5 years dedicated to cloud migration delivery.

Proven hands-on experience leading production migrations to AWS, ideally for multiple enterprise clients.

Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, and AWS Backup.

Practical experience with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and other relevant migration tools.

Solid understanding of VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux, DNS, Active Directory, storage, and networking concepts.

Experience in migration discovery, dependency mapping, wave planning, testing, and rollback strategies.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, replication, OS, and application-related migration issues.

Familiarity with AWS security best practices, hybrid connectivity, IAM, routing, and network segmentation.

Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and effectively communicating technical risks to clients and stakeholders.
