As a Cloud Migration Engineer, your daily activities will focus on evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine optimal cloud transition strategies. You will be instrumental in strategizing and executing migration plans, ensuring both scalability and high performance across various cloud platforms. Collaboration with diverse teams will be key to aligning migration efforts with overarching business objectives, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any emergent challenges.

Become a subject matter expert and perform independently, contributing actively to team discussions and problem-solving. Gather requirements and design robust migration strategies through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Monitor and optimize migration processes to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. Document migration procedures and best practices to foster knowledge sharing. Support junior team members in understanding migration workflows and resolving technical issues.

Possess a strong command of Oracle Database Architecture, with experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) being a valuable asset. Demonstrate a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and effective migration methodologies. Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of database systems is essential. The ability to analyze complex infrastructure and application dependencies for comprehensive migration planning is required. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to streamline migration tasks is also beneficial. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture is mandatory, along with 15 years of full-time education.
