As a Cloud Migration Engineer, your daily activities will involve thorough assessments of current systems to devise optimal cloud transition strategies. You'll be responsible for executing migration plans that ensure robust scalability and peak performance across diverse cloud platforms. Close collaboration with various internal teams is essential to align migration initiatives with overarching business objectives, while actively monitoring progress and resolving any challenges that emerge during the migration process.

Take ownership of projects, becoming a subject matter expert and actively contributing to team discussions. You will be expected to provide innovative solutions to complex work-related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements and formulate effective migration strategies. Continuously monitor and optimize migration processes to ensure minimal disruption and maximum operational efficiency. Develop comprehensive documentation for migration procedures and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, assisting them with migration workflows and troubleshooting technical issues.

A strong foundation in Oracle Database Architecture is essential for this role, complemented by experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). You should possess a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and proven migration methodologies. Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of database systems is highly valued. The ability to analyze complex infrastructure and application dependencies for meticulous migration planning is crucial. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to streamline migration tasks will be beneficial. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture is required. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
