This role involves planning, delivering, and implementing scalable, high-performance application and data migrations using private and public cloud technologies to drive next-generation business outcomes. The engineer will be instrumental in modernizing technology landscapes for enhanced efficiency and future readiness.

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, your typical day will involve evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning applications and data to cloud environments. You will strategize and execute migration plans ensuring scalability and high performance, leveraging both private and public cloud platforms. Close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals and continuous monitoring of progress will be key.

Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and perform independently. Actively contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective migration strategies. Monitor and optimize migration processes for minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. Document migration procedures and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing. Assist junior team members with migration workflows and troubleshooting.

Essential expertise in Oracle Database Architecture is required. Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA) is beneficial. Demonstrate strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and migration methodologies. Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of database systems is advantageous. Ability to analyze complex infrastructure and application dependencies for meticulous migration planning. Experience with scripting and automation tools to streamline migration tasks is a plus. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture is necessary. Completion of 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite.
