This role requires deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies, including proficiency with AWS CDK and core services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, Route 53, and EMR. You will manage PostgreSQL database environments and possess a strong understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven design patterns using SNS and SQS.

Key responsibilities include managing cloud databases like Redshift, Postgres, or Aurora, and having knowledge of multi-account AWS setups with a focus on security best practices (IAM, VPC). Experience with cloud provisioning tools like Terraform and CloudFormation is essential. You will also be responsible for implementing cost optimization strategies within AWS and functioning effectively in a Cloud SRE capacity.

Essential competencies for this position include advanced skills in AWS services such as S3, S3 Glacier, EBS, ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, and Fargate. Proficiency in Terraform and PostgreSQL database management is mandatory. A solid understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven design (SNS, SQS) is crucial.

Additionally, candidates should have experience with cloud databases (Redshift/Postgres/Aurora) and knowledge of multi-account AWS setups, including security best practices (IAM, VPC). Experience with cloud provisioning tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, as well as AWS cost optimization strategies, is required. The role also necessitates prior experience in a Cloud SRE function. Strong communication skills are also a must.
