Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining core components of our Managed AI Gateway platform. You will integrate AI services like Gemini, Claude, and OpenAI, while building and scaling robust API services and gateway orchestration capabilities. The role also involves developing web portal experiences for AI service onboarding and management, implementing security protocols such as authentication and authorization, and supporting global user access workflows.

Troubleshooting complex production issues and participating in incident response are crucial. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Security, and Platform Engineers, performing code reviews and establishing engineering best practices. Mentoring offshore developers while remaining hands-on is expected, alongside contributing to architecture, technical roadmaps, and platform modernization efforts, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

This role requires expertise in ARM Templates, Terraform, Application Insights, Azure Function App, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Server, API Management, Application Gateway, Key Vault, and Managed Identity. Essential competencies include a strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture, Azure/GCP Cloud-Native Development, IAM/OAuth/OIDC/SAML, SaaS & Vendor API Integration, and DevOps/CI/CD practices with GitHub.

Ideal candidates will also possess knowledge of API Gateways, Service Mesh, Enterprise Integration Platforms, Entitlement & Provisioning Management, Licensing & Governance Platforms, and FinOps. Proficiency in .NET, Python, Node.js, or Go, along with REST APIs & Microservices, is highly advantageous. Experience with AI services such as Azure AI, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini is also a plus.
