This role is key in leading solution or infrastructure development for complex projects, utilizing extensive technical expertise and hands-on experience. You will be accountable for the entire lifecycle of solutions and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with standards and driving their evolution. A deep understanding of business and user requirements is crucial to ensure technical designs effectively meet both business and technical needs.

Address complex project challenges, including coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development cycle. Offer advanced technical insights to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and value of current solutions, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. Provide technical leadership and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Cultivate strong collaborations with Development & Engineering and Architecture teams to jointly engineer leading-edge solutions. Take a leadership role within the workgroup, establishing clear expectations, principles, and structures for successful project delivery. Drive adherence to relevant processes, procedures, and technical standards, while actively contributing to their definition and implementation.

Possess advanced technical skills in designing, developing, and debugging solutions. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of C#, Java, or Python. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred, alongside over 10 years of applied experience.

Significant experience in software or platform engineering roles is essential. Proficiency in delivering software/platform engineering solutions, providing technical guidance, and managing user requirements is expected. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub and ADO is required.

Familiarity with fine-tuning language models for tasks such as text generation and summarization is beneficial. Understanding embedding models for NLP applications like similarity matching and information retrieval is important. Experience designing agentic systems and robust evaluation frameworks for AI models, including metric development and performance benchmarking, is highly desirable.

Ideally, you will also have experience with modern methodologies and building applications using container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and container engines like Docker. We seek a self-starter who is an independent thinker, curious, creative, and ambitious.
