Spearhead the integration of circular economy principles across the entire IT hardware lifecycle as the Circular IT Specialist. This global process owner will translate enterprise sustainability goals into actionable operating standards, governance frameworks, vendor requirements, and measurable outcomes. The role supports a complex, multinational IT environment by collaborating across IT Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Security, Legal, and other key departments to enhance asset longevity, reduce virgin material consumption, boost recovery value, and ensure compliant e-waste management.

This position also functions as the enterprise subject matter lead for circular IT governance, vendor performance oversight, and global regulatory monitoring concerning asset disposition, environmental compliance, and producer responsibility obligations. The core mandate involves operationalizing the circular IT strategy, establishing standards for reuse and refurbishment, strengthening vendor partnerships, and interpreting global regulations into effective operational controls.

Lead the strategy and operating model for circular IT asset lifecycle management, aligning with sustainability and IT objectives. Define the target operating model for device planning, acquisition, deployment, refresh, redeployment, and disposition.

Own end-to-end lifecycle process standards for various IT assets, embedding circular checkpoints into operational workflows. Define minimum data requirements for asset traceability, disposition coding, and chain of custody.

Manage the circular IT vendor governance framework for ITAD providers, refurbishers, recyclers, and other lifecycle partners. Define vendor selection criteria, due diligence, and performance expectations.

Establish a structured monitoring process for global e-waste and environmental regulations, translating them into actionable requirements. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to assess regulatory impacts on cross-border asset transfers and disposition practices.

Define and manage enterprise standards for e-waste minimization, responsible recycling, and downstream due diligence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase diversion from disposal and reduce environmental impacts.

Govern the KPI framework for circular IT performance, ensuring data quality for reporting and sustainability disclosures. Develop executive dashboards and provide robust data inputs for ESG and Scope 3 reporting.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT asset management, end-user computing, infrastructure operations, sourcing, supply chain, or sustainability is required. Proven leadership in designing or scaling enterprise lifecycle management programs within complex, multinational settings is essential.

Demonstrated experience managing or governing external vendors in areas such as ITAD, refurbishment, reverse logistics, maintenance, leasing, or electronics recycling is critical. A strong working knowledge of IT asset controls, chain of custody, data destruction requirements, and end-of-life operating models is also necessary.

Experience translating regulatory, audit, or policy requirements into practical operational processes and vendor controls is a key requirement. The ability to partner effectively across IT, procurement, finance, legal, security, and sustainability functions is paramount for success in this role.
