This role focuses on configuring, developing, and enhancing critical expense and time management applications, including Emburse Chrome River and Infor. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of these systems with SAP and other platforms. This is a hands-on developer position that demands strong skills in application configuration, integration troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem-solving.

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for:

- Configuring, developing, and supporting Emburse/Chrome River for expense management and Infor for time/timesheet management. - Maintaining workflow rules, approval hierarchies, business rules, validations, and country-specific requirements. - Configuring VAT, tax, and country-specific expense needs within Emburse Chrome River. - Enhancing timesheet workflows, validations, approvals, and related business rules in Infor. - Developing and troubleshooting integrations between Emburse/Chrome River, Infor, SAP, and other applications. - Utilizing REST APIs for development and troubleshooting, including authentication, requests, payloads, and responses. - Analyzing integration data, export files, and transaction records to identify discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis. - Translating business requirements into technical designs, configurations, and implementation specifications. - Supporting the end-to-end integration of expense data with SAP, particularly Accounts Payable (AP) processes. - Collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve defects and implement technical enhancements. - Identifying opportunities for automation, performance improvement, and operational efficiency. - Leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to enhance workflows and accelerate development.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Proven hands-on development and configuration experience with Emburse Chrome River. - Experience with Infor, particularly in supporting or configuring time/timesheet management. - Strong practical experience configuring workflow rules, approval hierarchies, business rules, validations, expense policies, and country-specific configurations. - In-depth hands-on experience with REST APIs and API troubleshooting, including Postman or similar tools. - Proficiency in understanding and debugging JSON/XML payloads, API responses, HTTP errors, and integration failures. - Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with a demonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis across complex systems. - Working knowledge of integrations with SAP, especially Accounts Payable (AP) processes. - The ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in global, multi-time-zone environments. - Practical experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for task automation and workflow enhancement. - Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
