EY is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst with a strong focus on process excellence and engineering for a 3–6 month contract role. This position is crucial for a cross-functional initiative aimed at streamlining briefing workflows for five distinct user groups. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed gap analyses of current documentation, workflows, and SOPs for briefing activities, identifying discrepancies and risks across user groups. You will also redesign and optimize workflows for efficiency, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process maps, and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste.

Collaborate with solution consultants to define technology approaches and translate business needs into technical requirements. You will manage stakeholder relationships, run workshops, and prepare comprehensive project documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories. Strong governance on scope and change requests is essential.

A minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a solid foundation in process engineering and excellence, is required. Proven expertise in gap analysis, SOP development, workflow design, and business process mapping is essential.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in setting up project governance frameworks, managing project artifacts, and utilizing Agile/Waterfall methodologies is also necessary. Strong organizational skills, structured thinking, and the ability to build relationships at the senior management level are key attributes.
