The EY GDS Creative Center of Excellence (CoE) operates as an in-house agency dedicated to crafting high-impact, on-brand creative solutions that help EY teams build a better working world. Our professionals create experiences that are not only creatively inspiring but also strategically precise and deeply human, spanning multiple media platforms.
As a Senior Art Director, you will blend creative vision with strategic thinking to lead our team, serving as a strong creative strategist and design thought leader. You will be responsible for the creative and visual direction and design of creative collaterals across various formats, ensuring all outputs are on-brand, user-centric, and aesthetically superior.
Your role involves leading creative brainstorms with stakeholders and marketing teams to develop best-in-class creatives aligned with EY's brand and business objectives. With an impeccable aesthetic sense, you will elevate creative conceptualization, storyboarding, and art direction for multi-channel projects. You'll coach and train the wider team, advancing GDS Creative Services from design and execution to leading with brand-building and distinctive creative strategies.
Provide creative leadership for design teams producing a range of collaterals including brochures, illustrations, infographics, presentations, microsites, motion graphics, and social media assets. Develop strategically sound conceptual work through rapid prototyping and storyboarding, managing projects from concept to post-production while adhering to EY brand guidelines and exceeding expectations for quality, turnaround time, budget, and efficiency. Stay current with design trends and advocate for best practices. Coordinate with team members to resolve issues and proactively identify opportunities to leverage pop culture and creative techniques for exceptional user experiences. Effectively communicate with clients, understand design briefs, and present innovative design solutions.
To excel in this role, you will possess a user-centric mindset coupled with a creative, innovative, and analytical approach. Essential skills include working knowledge of creating infographics and data visualization techniques, alongside exceptional project, risk, and team management capabilities. A proven track record of delivering high-quality output on time and within budget is crucial.
You should demonstrate an innovative mindset, transforming client challenges into compelling and inspiring creative solutions. Excellent communication, comprehension, and persuasive interpersonal skills are vital. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of current and future visual trends are expected.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or college diploma, preferably in Graphic Design or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe DC, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is mandatory. Experience across a range of digital, social, and integrated media, along with knowledge of social platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest is required. Strong visual design and creative thinking capabilities are key. A minimum of 12 years of overall experience in a fast-paced global environment, with prior art direction experience in leading agencies, is necessary.
