We're seeking a Design Automation Tool development Engineer for our Tegra SOC development group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to architect and build end-to-end tool flows for automatic generation of system fabrics, sub-systems, and SOC hierarchies, with a strong focus on user interface, maintainability, and scalability.

This position involves defining next-generation EDA workflows for leading chip designers and verification engineers. You will architect and develop innovative tools and methodologies that integrate AI into the chip design cycle. Key responsibilities include analyzing productivity bottlenecks, enhancing data analytics, and improving visualizations of daily workflows. You will also tackle complex and critical debugging challenges impacting the team's progress.

We are looking for individuals with strong software development skills and a commitment to high-quality work. A proven ability to conceptualize, design, and implement modular, robust EDA tools with well-defined APIs is essential. Deep understanding of object-oriented programming is a prerequisite. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities, along with experience in software architecture, development, and testing. Proficiency in Linux and coding in Perl or Python is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary.
