As a Cable Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the electrical cable and harness design process. This includes meticulously creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), developing detailed schematics, and defining system interconnects using Zuken E3. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers, ensuring seamless management of design modifications and technical documentation.

Your role will also encompass the critical tasks of electrical component selection, proactive obsolescence management, and rigorous adherence to all relevant electrical and safety standards. This position offers a dynamic environment to apply your expertise and contribute to robust engineering solutions.

We are seeking a candidate with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or a related electrical/electronic field. Essential to this role is 3-8 years of practical experience in electrical/electronic design, with a solid background in cable harness and schematic design.

Demonstrated proficiency with Zuken E3 (E3S) and experience in BOM creation and management are crucial. A strong understanding of electrical components is also required. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive and positive approach, will ensure success in this position.
