This role focuses on developing advanced middleware services and defining software interfaces for high-quality automotive infotainment solutions. You will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance software delivery throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Design and develop robust middleware framework components and services, analyzing software requirements and defining interfaces. Create software modules for Automotive Infotainment (IVI) head units and manage their lifecycle. Integrate system components with suppliers and stakeholders, participating in architecture reviews and technical workshops.

Execute C++ development, including code reviews, unit testing, and debugging. Support crucial processes like software integration, build management, release, and deployment. Develop, flash, and validate applications on IVI hardware platforms, ensuring comprehensive documentation of designs, code, and tests. Collaborate with global teams for timely, high-quality solution delivery.

A strong foundation in Modern C++ (C++14/C++17 or higher) is essential, coupled with hands-on Linux development experience, including build systems, deployment, and debugging. Proficiency in IPC mechanisms, MQTT, HTTP, and CommonAPI frameworks is required.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Previous experience in developing and maintaining middleware services and framework components is expected. A good grasp of Automotive Infotainment (IVI) system architecture and UML modeling is beneficial. Familiarity with Git for version control and experience in Agile Scrum environments using Atlassian tools are important. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are key.
