Seeking a Senior CommerceLayer Business Analyst with extensive experience in headless commerce and functional architecture. This pivotal role involves translating complex global business needs into effective composable headless solutions using the CommerceLayer platform. You will serve as the primary functional expert, responsible for defining and governing business processes, leading discovery sessions, and translating strategic visions into actionable product backlogs.

This position requires a deep understanding of the entire requirements lifecycle within an Agile framework. Collaboration with product managers, solution architects, and engineering teams is key to ensuring seamless integration of multi-market commerce strategies, checkout operations, inventory management, and ERP synchronization with CommerceLayer capabilities.

Formulate and govern comprehensive business rules, logic matrices, and data dictionaries to precisely manage orders, prices, and stock flow within CommerceLayer. Validate technical design proposals against original business requirements, preventing scope creep and ensuring optimal platform utilization. Author enterprise-grade user guides, business capability roadmaps, and functional configuration playbooks for merchandising teams. Drive global standardization initiatives across diverse regional digital teams, ensuring unified checkout experiences and catalog consistency. Mitigate functional friction between departments by clearly illustrating how headless API configurations execute backend calculations. Identify opportunities for operational improvements within the CommerceLayer ecosystem to streamline order fulfillment, subscription management, and promotional campaigns.

Required experience includes 8+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in global enterprise eCommerce, specializing in headless web applications, composable API architectures, and omnichannel systems. Proficiency in API structures (JSON payloads, REST responses), headless checkout systems, and modern headless frontends is essential. Demonstrated mastery of Agile management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps is required. Proven ability to lead and influence executive and cross-functional stakeholders in complex global organizations without direct authority. Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, with a talent for translating dense technical API concepts into clear, business-value-driven narratives. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are highly preferred.
