Design and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Databricks, Spark, Python/Scala, and SQL. Implement comprehensive data quality, lineage, and observability frameworks. Develop reusable templates and accelerators to enhance data engineering processes. Integrate Databricks with major cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring secure access and authentication.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to define use cases and architect optimal solutions. Provide mentorship to data engineers on Databricks best practices and performance tuning. Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Databricks within the organization.

Possess 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, big data, or cloud data environments, with proven expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake. Demonstrate strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala, along with hands-on experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP. A solid understanding of data modeling, lakehouse architecture, and distributed systems is essential.

Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices is required. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities are paramount. Preferred qualifications include Databricks certifications and knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, along with containerization technologies.
