We are seeking a strategic Business Finance Analyst to partner with the India leadership team, focusing on the Ads Sales sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence critical business decisions through sophisticated financial modeling and performance metric analysis within one of Google's key markets.

Our Finance organization is vital in providing in-depth analysis for strategic decisions across all Google products. By developing forward-thinking analysis, generating management reports, and scaling automated financial processes, we act as a crucial advisor to the business.

Support critical business finance operations for the India Large Customer Sales (LCS) Ads business, including reporting, forecasting, target setting, analysis, and budget management. Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations on business drivers, market trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance business performance and inform product strategies. Conduct in-depth analyses to generate these crucial insights and recommendations. Enable our AI transformation by improving the quality and scale of deliverables while accelerating operational efficiencies. Serve as a key liaison between central Finance teams and local business units.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience is required. A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a similar function is essential. Demonstrated experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling within a multinational corporation, is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and SQL, with proven experience using AI tools/LLMs for workflow automation or enhanced data analysis. Candidates should possess the ability to take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in unstructured environments. Strong problem-solving skills, a track record of building complex financial models, and the ability to identify non-obvious trends in large datasets are highly valued. Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills are crucial for influencing executive leadership.
