This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insight into one of Google's most significant markets. You will not only manage the core financial operations but also contribute to shaping the long-term financial strategy and operational excellence of the India business. You will be instrumental in supporting the Ads Sales business through sophisticated financial modeling and performance tracking.
Key responsibilities include supporting critical business finance operations for the Large Customer Sales (LCS) Ads business. This involves:
- Business reporting, forecasting, target setting, analysis, and budget management. - Providing management with actionable insights and recommendations on business drivers, market trends, risks, and opportunities. - Conducting in-depth analyses to generate strategic recommendations. - Acting as a strategic partner in AI transformation initiatives to enhance deliverables and operational efficiencies. - Serving as a liaison between central Finance teams and local business units.
We are seeking a Bachelor's degree holder in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a similar function is required.
Demonstrated experience in full-cycle FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling within a multinational context is essential. Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and SQL is expected, along with experience leveraging AI tools/LLMs for workflow automation or enhanced data analysis.
Candidates should possess strong initiative, the ability to navigate ambiguity and unstructured environments, and exceptional problem-solving skills. A proven track record of building complex financial models and identifying non-obvious trends in large datasets is crucial. Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills are vital for influencing executive leadership.
