This role focuses on Business Analysis within the Cards and Payments domain, requiring a strong understanding of issuing systems, transaction processing, and related integrations. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, driving modernization and transformation initiatives.

Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements for cards and payments systems. Perform end-to-end functional analysis across the entire card lifecycle, from onboarding to maintenance. Conduct gap analysis and define functional solutions, business rules, and exception handling strategies. Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and testers to ensure functional coherence throughout the project lifecycle. Support agile delivery through backlog refinement, story definition, and providing functional clarifications. Validate functional implementations during testing phases and support defect resolution from a business perspective. Provide functional support during production rollouts and post-go-live, including incident analysis. Contribute to knowledge retention and documentation, particularly for legacy system transformations.

A strong Cards domain expertise is essential, with hands-on experience in issuing systems, authorization engines, transaction back-office processing, clearing & settlement, scheme interfaces, fraud, embossing, and external integrations. Proven experience as a Functional Analyst in large-scale banking or Cards transformation programs, ideally involving system modernization or migration. Solid understanding of both legacy and distributed architectures from a functional perspective, including batch, real-time processing, and API-based integrations. Proficiency in working within agile, squad-based, and multi-vendor delivery environments is required.

Key responsibilities include defining functional flows, data mappings, business rules, and exception scenarios within complex payment ecosystems. Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills are vital. Familiarity with regulatory and scheme requirements is highly desirable.

Technical knowledge in Java, Kafka Streaming Platform, Java Development, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, and React Development environments is beneficial.
