As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving the implementation of critical financial crime compliance solutions. This is an opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking organization that values inclusivity and adaptability.
Your primary responsibilities will involve meticulously gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for AML/financial crime compliance initiatives. You will lead efforts to align projects with AMLA regulations, translating intricate regulatory demands into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Key tasks include supporting implementations across KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and reporting. You will conduct gap analyses against AMLA and broader EU AML frameworks, collaborating closely with business, compliance, and technology teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Furthermore, you will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and the final implementation of financial crime solutions, preparing comprehensive documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and compliance reports.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services sector. Essential expertise includes strong domain knowledge in AML/KYC/Financial Crime, with mandatory experience in AMLA/EU AML regulatory programs and a solid understanding of EU AML regulations (AMLD, AMLR, AMLA framework).
Proficiency in transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer risk assessment is vital. You must possess strong skills in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation, coupled with experience in data analysis tools like SQL and Excel. Experience with financial crime/AML systems, particularly NetReveal, and exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies are also key requirements. Prior involvement in large-scale regulatory transformation programs is highly advantageous.
