As a Business Analyst, you will analyze existing processes and design future states, clearly defining business, solution, and system requirements. Collaboration is key; you'll facilitate workshops with clients to gather insights and interact with stakeholders to grasp their needs, representing this understanding to the wider team.

Effective communication and acting as a liaison for the product backlog are vital. Your responsibilities extend to iteration planning, backlog refinement, and crafting detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will manage stakeholder relationships, bridging the gap between your team, the client, and project management.

Managing stakeholder expectations and acting as an interface between the team, customer, and project manager are also core duties.

You will explore and present various solution options to meet client requirements, guiding them and internal teams in making informed decisions by balancing business value against technical complexity. Detailing user stories based on client criteria or practice guidelines and collaborating closely with key internal and external project stakeholders will be integral to your success. Maintaining the accuracy and consistency of requirements throughout the change lifecycle and supporting their reuse in future solutions are also expected.

Essential qualifications include the ability to ensure specifications and requirements are well-defined and prepared for implementation. You should be adept at understanding initial product backlog and inception documentation to form a comprehensive view of project scope. Contributing to and understanding the product backlog item refinement process is crucial.

It's important to be able to articulate project issues effectively and seek assistance from project management or lead BAs when needed. While not mandatory, familiarity with commerce platforms like SAP Hybris or similar tools would be a distinct advantage. The position requires 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
