We are seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst (BA) with extensive experience in .NET applications, database analysis, and core business analysis practices. This role involves deep dives into existing applications through source code, database structures, integrations, and business processes. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and project managers to transform business needs into detailed technical user stories, functional specifications, and comprehensive solution documents.

This position offers a dynamic blend of technical proficiency and business acumen, crucial for supporting application modernization, enhancements, and ongoing operational needs.

Analyze and comprehend existing .NET applications, APIs, services, and system integrations, including reverse engineering functionality by reviewing source code and database schemas. Perform impact analyses for changes and defects, understanding data flows, business rules, stored procedures, and SQL jobs. Collaborate with development teams on technical constraints and solution designs, and support system integration analysis across diverse applications.

Conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders. Translate these requirements into precise functional and technical user stories. Develop and maintain critical documentation including BRDs, FRDs, User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows, Technical Design Documents, Data Mapping Documents, and As-Is/To-Be Process Documentation. Facilitate seamless communication between business users and technical teams, ensuring requirement clarity and traceability.

Create detailed technical specifications for development teams. Design process diagrams, workflows, and data flow diagrams. Actively support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement prioritization. Assist QA teams with requirement clarification and test scenario development. Provide support during UAT and participate in defect triage.

Possess a strong understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core applications. Demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, .NET Core, SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Database schemas. Experience with SQL Server, Data Modeling, Database Design Concepts, and ETL/Data Interfaces is essential. Familiarity with REST APIs and application integrations is required. Ability to conduct code walkthroughs and technical analysis with development teams is a key requirement.

Exhibit robust requirement elicitation and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience in crafting high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Expertise in documenting business processes and technical workflows. Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are critical for success in this role.

Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps/JIRA, Confluence, Visio/Draw.io, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is necessary.
