As an Associate Manager, you will lead the preparation and review of complex tax returns for Australian corporate entities, demonstrating high proficiency in tax technical knowledge and analyzing financial statements. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, supervising daily operations, and driving tax return processes. You will also assist senior management with advisory projects, manage engagement economics, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency. People management involves facilitating teamwork, motivating team members, and acting as a role model for a high-performing team.

To excel in this role, you should possess a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to Australian corporate entities' income tax, with a strong understanding of trial balance and general ledger analysis. Experience with tax-sensitive accounts and the ability to prepare statements of taxable income, tax adjustments, and consolidation groups are essential. Familiarity with OneSource software is required. Excellent English communication, analytical, numeric, and people management skills are crucial, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). A formal education in commerce or finance, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/commerce, and at least 3 years of experience working with major global corporations (e.g., Big 4, Finance shared services) are necessary qualifications.
