As a Tax Senior, you will lead analyst teams and oversee client service delivery for specific geographies or specializations. Your primary focus will be on Australian corporate entities' financial statements and income tax returns. Responsibilities include analyzing trial balances and general ledgers, managing complex tax return preparation, preparing statements of taxable income, executing tax adjustments, and handling tax effect accounting.

You will also be instrumental in establishing strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for EY, and supervising daily operations with minimal managerial oversight. Demonstrating leadership in team development, assisting with advisory projects, and managing engagement economics are key aspects of this role. Furthermore, you will contribute to process improvements for enhanced service delivery and efficiency.

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong command of tax technical knowledge pertinent to Australian corporate income tax. A solid understanding of analyzing trial balances, general ledgers, and tax-sensitive accounts is essential. Proficiency in driving tax return preparation, reviewing complex tax deliverables, and preparing necessary tax adjustments is required.

Candidates must have formal education in commerce or finance, ideally a Bachelors or Masters degree. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with major global corporations, such as Big 4 firms or finance shared services, is necessary. Excellent English communication, MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook), and strong analytical, numeric, and people management skills are critical for success.
