As an Assistant Manager, you'll be instrumental in leading teams of Analysts and Advanced Analysts, ensuring exceptional client service delivery across specific geographies, areas, or specializations. Reporting to senior management, you will actively participate in developing team members, optimizing resource deployment, and driving strategic initiatives.

This position focuses on U.S. individual, gift, trust, and partnership tax returns, offering exposure to complex technical challenges and client-facing responsibilities.

Lead and mentor teams of Analysts and Advanced Analysts, ensuring high-quality client service delivery. Drive the preparation and review of complex U.S. individual, gift, trust, and partnership tax returns. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal EY colleagues. Identify opportunities to expand EY's GDS services through consistent delivery of exceptional work. Supervise daily operations and engagement milestones with minimal managerial oversight. Demonstrate leadership in building and developing high-performing teams. Support Senior Managers and Managers on advisory services and ad-hoc projects. Develop financial acumen by managing project economics, including budget monitoring and cost control. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and compliance efficiency. Foster collaboration by identifying opportunities to leverage information and resources across various assignments and teams. Facilitate effective teaming, manage conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve collective success. Act as a role model, embodying EY's values and contributing to a positive team environment.

Possess a strong command of tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. individual, gift, trust, and partnership returns, with an understanding of intricate technical issues. Demonstrate effective communication skills, articulating ideas clearly and adapting communication style to diverse audiences. Exhibit strong analytical, numerical, and people management capabilities. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential. Formal education in Commerce or Finance is required.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Commerce. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with a major global corporation, such as a Big 4 firm or a finance shared services center.
