As a Senior Associate, you will be pivotal in maintaining accurate records for hedge and private equity holdings, utilizing various pricing resources. You will conduct Net Asset Value reconciliations, prepare essential accounting reports, and manage transaction communications. This role also involves close collaboration with internal teams and external clients to deliver comprehensive accounting packages.

Furthermore, you will support year-end audit engagements by coordinating and providing necessary documentation, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards. A key aspect of this position includes performing due diligence to confirm client compliance with governmental laws and regulations. You will also liaise with external investment managers to address fund inquiries, including fee payments and cash position breaks, prioritizing client engagement and exceptional service.

Candidates should possess at least two years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial instruments like equities, fixed income, and derivatives, alongside knowledge of capital markets operations and trade lifecycles. A foundational understanding of basic accounting principles is essential.

This role requires the ability to work regular shifts from Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST. A university degree or equivalent, requiring at least three years of formal study in Finance or Accounting principles, is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected, along with the self-motivation to manage multiple client deliverables without compromising quality.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are paramount, as client interaction will primarily be via email and phone. Strong customer service skills are also critical for daily engagement with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
