Seeking a skilled Medical Coding Supervisor to oversee coding operations and team performance. This role is crucial for maintaining coding accuracy, managing unbilled accounts, and ensuring adherence to U.S. coding guidelines. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and drive efficiency within the team.

This position requires a deep understanding of medical specialties and a commitment to compliance. You will be instrumental in reducing accounts receivable days and resolving coding-related inquiries for providers, ensuring timely claim resolutions.

Key responsibilities include monitoring unbilled accounts to minimize accounts receivable days and ensuring strict adherence to coding guidelines and productivity standards.

You will also address coding-related queries from U.S. providers, attend training to enhance coding knowledge and compliance, and provide supervision and direction to the team. Additionally, you will analyze trends, present solutions to customers, and respond to requests for timely resolution of unpaid and denied claims.

This role necessitates maintaining and enforcing SOP guidelines, providing monthly performance feedback, and guiding team members to effectively complete tasks. You will also attend training sessions to improve Accounts Receivable knowledge, compliance skills, and credential maintenance.

Ensuring complete adherence to TAT and SLAs, maintaining patient confidentiality, and strictly adhering to HIPAA are paramount. Expertise in EM & ED Professional coding specialties is required.
