As a Sr. Specialist in Private Equity Fund Accounting, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate books and records and performing Net Asset Value calculations. Your duties will include coordinating and reviewing financial statements, performance metrics, and quarterly reports.

Key responsibilities involve the oversight of carried interest, performance, and incentive fee calculations. You will also coordinate and review investor allocations for capital calls and distributions, as well as partners' capital account statements. Managing payments and other transactions will be a crucial part of your role.

Furthermore, you will supervise production analysts, reviewing and signing off on their work. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of all client expectations and addressing escalations promptly. You'll also guide your team in managing timelines, workflows, and deliverables within agreed SLAs, while monitoring their development.

To excel in this role, a minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience within the financial services sector, specifically Private Equity, is required. Proven experience in reviewing financial statements and familiarity with enterprise accounting systems are essential.

While not mandatory, working knowledge of Investran is highly desirable. You should possess 5-7 years of advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, tables, formatting, conditional formatting, charting, and pivot tables/reporting. Experience in independently handling client calls and monthly/weekly reviews is necessary.

Additionally, you should have 4-5 years of supervisory experience in managing and leading staff. Educational qualifications such as a B.Com or CA (Inter/Final) are preferred for this position.
