Join a leading global provider of asset and wealth management solutions as a Private Equity and Fund Accounting Analyst. This role is integral to our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team, focusing on delivering exceptional services for complex fund structures within the private equity sector. You'll collaborate with seasoned industry professionals, contributing to the transformation of client operations.
Our client empowers corporations, financial institutions, advisors, and high-net-worth families to create and manage wealth through comprehensive investment processing, management, and operations solutions. As a key player in our Private Equity team, you will enhance productivity, streamline operations, and strengthen cash flow for our esteemed clients.
This role involves meticulously maintaining financial records and accurately calculating fund Net Asset Values (NAVs). You will coordinate and review financial statements, performance metrics, and quarterly reports. Key responsibilities include overseeing the calculation and review of carried interests, performance fees, investor allocations for capital calls and distributions, and partner capital account statements.
Further duties encompass managing payments, supervising production analysts, and signing off on their work. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Addressing client escalations promptly and serving as the first escalation point for internal queries are also crucial aspects of this position. Additionally, you'll guide the team in managing timelines, workflows, and deliverables within agreed SLAs, while monitoring team members for development opportunities.
We are seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in accounting within the financial services sector, specifically in Private Equity. Proven experience in reviewing financial statements and proficiency with enterprise accounting systems are essential. While not mandatory, working knowledge of Investran is highly desirable.
A strong command of MS Excel is required, with at least 3-5 years of experience utilizing formulas, tables, formatting, conditional formatting, charting, and pivot tables for reporting. You must be comfortable independently handling client calls and participating in monthly and weekly review meetings. A B.Com degree or CA (Inter/Final) qualification is preferred for this role.
