Responsibilities include reviewing and approving journal entries based on bank statements and client details. You will perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial logs, preparing comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages for hedge funds and private equity funds.

Key duties involve calculating Net Asset Value (NAV), generating statements of assets and liabilities, and profit and loss statements. Ensuring proper accrual of fund income, expenses, and fees according to accounting standards is also essential. You will process capital activities such as calls, distributions, and transfers, and derive pricing for portfolio investments.

Additional responsibilities include managing daily cash flow, monitoring fund cash flows, and processing cash movements related to capital activity. Preparing bespoke reports for client requests and independently completing cash, portfolio, and capital reconciliations, along with resolving any discrepancies, are vital functions of this role.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of fund accounting principles and experience with hedge funds and private equity. Proficiency in financial reporting, Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation, and meticulous reconciliation is expected.
