Seeking a Senior Medical Records Coding Representative to join our BPO team. This role is vital in transforming patient health information into standardized alphanumeric codes.

Medical coders play a crucial role in creating a universal language for describing diagnoses, procedures, and health outcomes, ensuring consistent documentation across medical facilities.

This position involves reviewing clinical documentation to accurately assign standard codes, contributing to the efficient management of healthcare data.

Key responsibilities include carefully reading patient documentation to understand assigned diagnoses and accurately transforming healthcare data into universal medical alphanumeric codes.

You will be responsible for creating uniform vocabulary that describes the causes of injury, illness, and death, thereby facilitating uniform documentation between medical facilities.

The primary task involves reviewing clinical statements and assigning the appropriate standard codes.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in any Healthcare BPO is required. Candidates must hold a University degree or equivalent, involving at least 3 years of formal study in Life Science, BPT, Pharmacy, or Nursing.

Proficiency in human Anatomy and Physiology is essential. Experience utilizing computer systems with Windows PC applications, including keyboard navigation and learning new software, is also necessary.

Candidates must be available for scheduled shifts Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with flexibility for shift changes based on client needs. Overtime and weekend work may be required, along with the ability to return to the office upon NTT Data's communication. Training will be conducted on-site.
