Key responsibilities include thoroughly reading and interpreting medical documentation to grasp patient diagnoses. You will be transforming healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. A core aspect of this role is creating a uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness, and death. This medical coding enables standardized documentation between healthcare facilities, with the primary task being to review clinical statements and assign appropriate standard codes.

This role requires 0-1 year of experience in any Healthcare BPO. Candidates should possess a university degree or equivalent, necessitating 3+ years of formal study in Life Science, BPT, Pharmacy, or Nursing. Essential knowledge includes human Anatomy and Physiology. A minimum of 1 year of experience using computer and Windows PC applications, involving keyboard navigation and learning new software, is necessary. Effective oral and written English communication skills are vital for client interaction. Flexibility for scheduled shifts (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM IST, subject to change) and potential overtime or weekend work based on business needs is expected.
