Accurate coding ensures uniform data representation across healthcare facilities, facilitating clear communication and analysis of diagnoses, procedures, and medical services.

As a Medical Records Coder, your primary responsibilities will include meticulously reading and interpreting patient documentation to understand diagnoses. You will be responsible for converting healthcare diagnosis, procedure, and service information into universal medical alphanumeric codes. This process is vital for creating a standardized vocabulary that describes the causes of injury, illness, and death, thereby enabling uniform documentation between medical facilities.

We are seeking individuals with a University degree or equivalent, typically requiring 3+ years of formal studies in Life Sciences, BPT, Pharmacy, or Nursing. A strong understanding of human Anatomy and Physiology is essential. Prior experience of 0-1 year in any Healthcare BPO is preferred. Proficiency in using Windows PC applications, including keyboard navigation and learning new software, is required, along with at least one year of such experience. Excellent oral and written English communication skills are necessary for client interaction.
