As a Medical Records Coder, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously review patient documentation to grasp diagnoses.

You will be tasked with converting healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universally recognized medical alphanumeric codes. This process is vital for establishing a uniform vocabulary that describes the causes of injuries, illnesses, and deaths, and ensures consistent record-keeping between different medical institutions.

Your core duty involves reviewing clinical statements and accurately assigning standard codes.

Ideal candidates will have 0-1 year of experience within the Healthcare BPO industry. A university degree or equivalent, requiring at least 3 years of formal study in Life Sciences, Physiotherapy (BPT), Pharmacy (B.Pharm), or Nursing is essential.

Proficiency in human anatomy and physiology is required, alongside at least one year of experience utilizing a computer with Windows applications, including keyboard navigation and software learning.

Flexibility is key, as you must be able to work scheduled shifts (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM IST), with potential adjustments based on client needs. Availability for overtime and weekend work as business demands require, and strong oral and written English communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, are also necessary.
