As a Business Intelligence Engineer, your role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining data-driven interfaces that transform raw data into actionable insights. You will drive adoption and enhance decision-making processes across the organization. This position involves migrating and deploying robust data solutions while rigorously integrating security and data privacy protections. The role fosters continuous collaboration to strengthen knowledge engines and champion data-driven strategies, ensuring effective data utilization to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, workflows, reports, and reusable solution components. - Translate complex business requirements and analytical logic into clear technical specifications and functional solutions. - Automate repetitive analytical tasks using Python or other scripting languages. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, logic, workflows, performance, and dashboards. - Collaborate effectively with techno-functional analysts, consultants, and senior developers to refine requirements and solution designs. - Conduct unit testing, provide peer review support, and ensure production readiness through thorough documentation and checks. - Ensure all developed solutions are maintainable, scalable, well-documented, and adhere to internal delivery standards. - Support operational analytics across various domains including supply chain, inventory, logistics, procurement, and finance.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in analytics development, BI development, reporting automation, or SQL development. - Proven proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle PLSQL. - Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience working with large enterprise datasets. - Working knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, or validation, preferably within environments like Colab. - Experience with BI concepts, dashboarding tools, workflow management, and data validation techniques. - Ability to conceptualize analytical business logic and convert it into reliable technical solutions. - Familiarity with internal analytics platforms or a demonstrated ability to learn them quickly. - Exposure to GCP tools such as BigQuery, Looker, or Vertex is beneficial but not mandatory. - Excellent debugging, documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities. - Experience working in an agile, stakeholder-facing analytics delivery environment. - Required: 15 years of full-time education.
