Join Rippling as a Benefits Operations Associate focused on EDI and API operations. This role is crucial for our rapidly growing Benefits platform, ensuring smooth operations and client success. You will manage thousands of enrollments annually, contributing significantly to one of Rippling's key product categories.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support our EDI and API functions. This position involves configuring, debugging, and maintaining client setups, alongside resolving errors from insurance carriers. Your work will directly impact our clients and involve close collaboration with insurance providers, customers, and internal teams.

- Oversee the complete setup of new EDI/API integrations, including 834, JSON, and carrier-specific files. - Provide post-production support for our diverse client base. - Gather carrier requirements, map files, conduct testing, and manage error reports and discrepancies. - Serve as the main liaison with insurance carriers, customers, and brokers to resolve EDI/API transaction issues. - Identify and address process gaps to drive improvements. - Monitor productivity metrics and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). - Support EDI/API connections after they go live.

- Possess 2-4 years of experience in EDI file transmissions (specifically 834 files or proprietary files) and managing enrollment/member eligibility. - Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Exhibit excellent project management and organizational skills. - Showcase strong client service capabilities. - Apply keen attention to detail with robust analytical and problem-solving skills. - Manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload. - Familiarity with API functionalities is advantageous. - Understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning benefits enrollment data and Protected Health Information (PHI) handling is essential. - Basic knowledge of XML or flat-file data formats used with 834 EDI is beneficial.
