This senior consultant role focuses on modernizing and transforming FinCrime solutions. You will engage clients with deep expertise in FinCrime solutions, leading technology consulting initiatives. Effectively manage and mentor a team of technology consultants, driving large-scale technology programs as a project manager.
Leverage deep understanding of AML/FinCrime products to translate high-level business needs into technical requirements. Define and validate customisation needs for AML products, aligning them with client objectives. Analyse client processes and workflows, recommending optimal use of AML products for maximum benefit.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of banking best practices and AML product modules. Showcase mandatory experience in FinCrime, Fraud, and FinCrime AI roadmaps, including GenAI, Agentic AI, ML, XAI, and Regulatory AI use cases. Possess experience with NICE Actimize SAM and WLM; SAS AML, FircoSoft, Oracle FCCM, Quantexa, NetReveal, or Norkom experience is beneficial.
Serve as a Technical Business Systems Analyst on FinCrime projects, interfacing with onsite coordinators and reporting progress regularly to leads and managers. Liaise with customer representatives as needed and be open to travel to client locations. Implement AI governance, investigator copilots, intelligent alert triaging, and case summarization solutions.
Develop expertise in AI roadmaps covering GenAI, Agentic AI, ML, XAI, and Regulatory AI use cases. Drive advancements in Intelligent Alert Prioritization, False Positive Reduction, Network Analytics, Fraud Prediction, and SAR Narrative Generation. Be proficient in NICE Actimize AML solutions (SAM, WLM, ACM, ActOne), including scenario configuration, threshold tuning, alert generation, workflow configuration, and screening processes.
Possess strong experience with FinCrime data models, data mapping, ETL processes, REST API integrations, and Java customizations. Showcase proficiency in Cloud, CI/CD (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, Nexus), and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with FinCrime tools and cloud implementations is essential. Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and application support skills are required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a must.
Understand application and solution technical designs, business requirements, and mapping. Have knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Elasticsearch. Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Java, or Linux/Unix Shell) is necessary. Kafka integrations are an advantage.
Demonstrate end-to-end FinCrime or Fraud implementation program experience, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation. Hands-on delivery in FinCrime or Fraud implementations is crucial. Experience in Cloud and CI/CD (Devops Automation) environments is necessary. Possess a high-level understanding of infrastructure designs, data models, and application/business architecture. Act as a Subject Matter Expert with excellent functional and operational knowledge.
Possess thorough functional knowledge of AML/CTF transaction monitoring, KYC, and Sanctions processes. Have a deep understanding of transaction monitoring and scenarios. Strong knowledge of SAM, alert investigation, SAR/STR processes, and AML risk assessment is vital. Expertise in WLM, sanctions screening, OFAC/UN/EU compliance, PEP, and adverse media screening is required. Experience in scenario tuning, threshold optimization, false positive reduction, and gap analysis is expected.
Should have developed modules related to KYC, CDD, EDD, sanction screening, PEP, adverse media screening, TM, and CM. Thorough knowledge of case management workflows is necessary. Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and gap analysis is crucial. Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodology experience is essential.
Exposure to product demonstrations, training, and assessment studies is beneficial. Exhibit analytical thinking for out-of-the-box solutions, with the ability to propose customization approaches and configuration mapping. Excellent client-facing skills are mandatory. Ability to review test cases and guide the testing team is required. End-to-end product implementation and transformation experience is desirable.
This position offers flexibility to work from any EY GDS office in India, with a preference for Bangalore. An MBA, MCA, BE, or BTech degree or equivalent, coupled with 5-8 years of banking industry experience, is mandatory. Requires 6+ years in AML/FinCrime/Fraud transformation and at least 2 years of AI/ML or Generative AI implementation experience in banking or compliance.
