We are seeking a Senior Technology Consultant with specialized expertise in Calypso for Capital Markets core modernization and migration projects. This role requires deep financial services experience to effectively engage clients and advocate for innovative solutions.

As a Senior Technology Consultant and Calypso Implementation Specialist, you will drive Capital Markets core modernization and migration projects. You will lead client discussions with your extensive financial services experience, ensuring client confidence in proposed solutions. Key responsibilities include configuring Calypso modules, designing workflows, managing exceptions, and integrating with upstream/downstream systems. You will also contribute to functional and technical design workshops within Agile frameworks.

We are looking for candidates with 4 to 8 years of hands-on Capital Markets experience, covering the front-to-back trade lifecycle. A solid understanding of securities trading, settlements, middle office processes, and regulatory reporting is essential. Proficiency in Calypso implementation, ideally version 14+, across various modules is mandatory. Technical skills include experience with trade processing engines, static data, interfaces (ISO15022/20022, FIX), and APIs. Ability to write complex SQL queries and interpret technical logs is required. Familiarity with financial instruments like Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivatives is necessary.

Required technical skills encompass application and solution design, business requirement analysis, and understanding of technology landscapes. Database skills (SQL), programming/scripting (Python, Java, C#), and optionally Cloud, CI/CD, or Data Visualization (Tableau, Power BI) are beneficial. An MBA, MCA, BE, or B.Tech degree, along with 4-8 years of relevant Capital Markets experience in banking, investment banking, or financial technology, is expected.
