As an API Integration Consultant, you will act as a techno-functional expert in Digital Banking and API Transformation projects. Your key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements and translating them into scalable API and integration solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define integration strategies, design API specifications, and work closely with various banking systems and external ecosystems.

Your role will involve participating in the entire API lifecycle, from design to support, identifying integration opportunities, and driving testing phases including SIT and UAT. You will troubleshoot integration issues, review technical designs, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards for security, governance, and performance. A focus on Open Banking initiatives and client workshops will also be integral to your success.

We are seeking candidates with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in API integration, Digital Banking, or Banking Transformation initiatives. A strong understanding of banking operations, digital banking ecosystems, and API integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL is essential. Experience with API Gateways, API management, security frameworks, and Open Banking standards is highly valued.

Technical proficiency with integration platforms, middleware, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is expected. Functional expertise in business process mapping, requirement analysis, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is also critical. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required to effectively collaborate across diverse teams and deliver impactful solutions.
