Join BCG Platinion as a Lead/Principal IT Architect, a key leadership role focused on bolstering our architecture and delivery capabilities in Southeast Asia. You will be instrumental in shaping enterprise technology strategies, spearheading architecture design, and driving large-scale digital and IT transformation initiatives for prominent organizations. Collaborate effectively within hybrid teams comprising BCG and BCG Platinion consultants on extensive IT and digital transformation programs. Provide expert advisory on enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and IT strategy to senior client stakeholders, with a focus on Financial Institutions and/or Insurance sectors. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology architecture to achieve measurable outcomes in close partnership with client leadership. Lead assessments of current states, define target-state architectures, and develop practical transition roadmaps. Guide and oversee the implementation of enterprise and solution architectures, including the development of proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives. Design innovative, scalable technology solutions within complex client environments to address critical business challenges. Foster innovation by introducing cross-industry insights on emerging technology trends, platforms, and delivery models. Cultivate trusted relationships with senior client executives, influencing decision-making and technological direction. Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal crafting, pre-sales support, and executive presentations. Mentor and develop junior architects and consultants, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, management, or technology consulting, or in relevant industry or digital roles, particularly within Financial Services, Insurance, Telco, or related sectors. Demonstrated proficiency across enterprise, solution, application, data, and/or cloud architecture domains. A strong history of architecting and successfully delivering enterprise-scale solutions within complex operational environments. Comprehensive understanding of architecture principles, complemented by practical experience with contemporary data platforms and digital ecosystems. Proven ability to lead high-performing delivery or case teams in managing complex transformation programs. Substantial experience in pre-sales activities, proposal development, and engaging in presentations to senior client leadership. Capacity to excel in a hypothesis-driven consulting setting, articulating strategic technology challenges with clarity. Exceptional analytical skills, structured problem-solving capabilities, and strong conceptual thinking. Outstanding communication, storylining, and client-facing consulting competencies. A strategic mindset coupled with executive presence and professional gravitas when interacting with senior stakeholders. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF; relevant certifications are advantageous. A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field is required. An MBA, Master’s, or PhD is highly valued. Readiness to travel within Southeast Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. More experienced candidates may be considered for Principal or Director level appointments.
