As an AI Tech Architect, you will collaborate with BCG and BCG Platinion teams across Southeast Asia to guide clients through defining, designing, and delivering technology architectures. Your role involves advising on AI/GenAI architecture, data platforms, cloud strategies, and enterprise technology transformation. You will assess current landscapes, define target-state architectures, and develop comprehensive roadmaps.

You will design solution, application, data, AI/GenAI, integration, and cloud architectures, creating technical blueprints, feasibility studies, and proofs of concept. A key focus will be on evaluating and designing enterprise GenAI solutions, including LLM integration, RAG, AI agents, and responsible AI considerations. You will also evaluate technology platforms and vendors, review technical architectures for scalability and security, and support the transition of AI solutions from experimentation to production.

Furthermore, you will analyze complex technology environments to identify optimization opportunities, facilitate workshops with leaders, and lead workstreams within transformation programs. Building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, contributing to thought leadership, and supporting business development are also integral to this role. Mentoring junior team members will contribute to the growth of our architecture capabilities.

We are seeking a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a consulting or leading technology organization, with a strong background in technology/enterprise architecture. Expertise in areas such as solution, application, data, cloud, or AI architecture is essential.

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of modern AI and GenAI architectures, including their integration into enterprise landscapes. Experience designing AI/GenAI solutions encompassing Generative AI applications, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector databases, AI/ML platforms, MLOps/LLMOps, and AI security/governance is expected. A good grasp of modern data platform architecture and major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) is also crucial.

Familiarity with integration methodologies, application modernization, DevOps, and CI/CD practices is important. You should be adept at evaluating technology options, translating technical trade-offs into business implications, and performing technology assessments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills are required, alongside excellent communication and client-facing abilities, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts to senior executives.

We value strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working across diverse teams. The ability to navigate ambiguity and shape solutions is key. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being an advantage. Hands-on familiarity with GenAI tools is also a plus. Flexibility for travel across Southeast Asia is expected.
