Lead and execute strategic consulting engagements throughout the downstream oil & gas value chain, engaging with global clients and collaborating with EY member firms and subject-matter experts. Develop and present comprehensive digital transformation roadmaps for downstream oil and gas businesses, defining and documenting new processes that align business needs with technological solutions. Utilize data, analytics, IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and digital twins to derive critical insights, enhance decision-making, and boost operational performance.

Work collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely and value-driven project delivery. Mentor and manage consulting teams, fostering capability development and ensuring excellence in delivery and knowledge transfer. Facilitate organizational change management to support digital adoption and build essential capabilities within client organizations. Contribute to EY’s Energy Consulting practice through thought leadership, client workshops, and solution development.

Manage downstream Oil and Gas client accounts and key stakeholders, overseeing a portfolio of business opportunities and projects. Proactively identify and pursue new business avenues by leveraging your network and market insights to drive growth. Craft compelling proposals and thought leadership content that positions EY as a preferred partner for strategic transformation. Achieve individual and team sales and revenue targets.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical or equivalent) is required. Candidates should possess approximately 15-18 years of comprehensive experience, combining deep downstream oil & gas industry expertise with robust consulting experience. Essential qualifications include a strong understanding of the downstream oil and gas sector, particularly in refining and petrochemicals, with experience in LNG/Gas Plants being a significant advantage.

Extensive knowledge of downstream oil and gas value chains, business models, processes, capabilities, and associated technology solutions and vendors (e.g., Aspentech, Aveva, Honeywell) is crucial. Prior experience in digital transformation for the oil and gas industry, including familiarity with IT/OT architecture and frameworks, is necessary. While not mandatory, experience with process simulation, process optimization, and asset performance management tools is beneficial.

Demonstrated experience in developing business and technology strategies, solutions, and delivery roadmaps with clients is required, along with a proven track record of leading business and technology-enabled transformation projects within the Oil and Gas sector. Candidates must exhibit a strong ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure and possess a well-established client and relationship network within the Oil and Gas Industry. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for uniting teams towards common objectives in complex settings. Extensive experience in team management and talent mentorship, contributing to practice growth and capability building, is also a key requirement. A Master’s degree (MBA or related) and experience working with global consulting firms or energy-focused advisory teams are considered advantageous.
