Join EY's Global Delivery Services as a Pharma Forecasting Specialist-Manager and contribute to our worldwide network of service delivery centers. This role is pivotal in supporting EY's growth agenda by providing effective client service and enablement services. We leverage a global team of over 80,000 professionals across ten locations, offering specialized support in consulting, assurance, tax, strategy, and knowledge management.
Our innovation specialists collaborate with various EY teams, bringing together environments, technologies, and skilled individuals to foster rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The opportunity lies in becoming a key stakeholder within a cross-functional team, focusing on forecasting at global, country, and regional levels. Ideal candidates will possess around 10 years of forecasting expertise, deep therapeutic area and pharma industry knowledge, and the ability to recommend assumptions, create concept notes, and develop compelling presentations. Basic Python coding skills are also a requirement for this dynamic role.
Develop comprehensive brand volume forecasts for both short-term and long-term strategic and operational planning. Conduct in-depth strategic forecasting for brands and franchises, offering guidance informed by franchise insights. Address regional and brand-level analytical challenges using robust quantitative approaches. Perform sensitivity analyses to pinpoint opportunities and mitigate risks, thereby improving forecast accuracy. Act as a crucial stakeholder in cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, MMD, HHI, RCL) to meet global, country, and regional forecasting demands.
Create and meticulously maintain accurate forecasts utilizing advanced analytical and forecasting techniques. Propose assumptions and methodologies for forecasting models. Prepare concise concept notes and impactful presentations to effectively convey findings and recommendations. Conduct thorough business analysis, encompassing requirement elicitation, data management, and change management. Leverage Python coding skills to streamline and enhance forecasting processes. Collaborate closely with global teams (marketing, finance, RCLs, HHI, MMD, market access) to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Analyze historical data and evolving market trends to inform forecasting models. Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards essential for forecasting. Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and executive leadership. Continuously refine forecasting processes and methodologies for optimal performance. Stay abreast of the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in forecasting and analytics.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with strong business analysis skills, including experience in requirement elicitation, data management, change management, and presentation delivery. A solid understanding of the Long Range Forecasting process is essential, alongside excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities. Significant therapeutic area knowledge and prior pharmaceutical industry experience are mandatory. Basic proficiency in Python coding is also required.
Desired candidates will possess extensive experience in business analysis and forecasting within the pharmaceutical sector. Knowledge of specific pharma therapeutic areas like Oncology or Vaccines is highly valued. A proven history of developing and maintaining accurate forecasts, coupled with advanced proficiency in business analysis and forecasting tools, is beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage tasks independently and proactively, and robust analytical and problem-solving skills are critical. The capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, along with personal drive and a positive work ethic to deliver under tight deadlines, will ensure success in demanding situations.
