Support critical processes such as formulary management, prior authorization, and utilization review. Apply comprehensive knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) models, benefit design, and rebate structures. Analyze medication utilization patterns, cost trends, and adherence metrics. Contribute to specialty drug management programs and medication safety initiatives, while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ensure pharmacy processes align with clinical, financial, and regulatory requirements. Develop consulting deliverables, including workflow documentation, analysis, and strategic recommendations.

This senior role requires 4–8 years of experience in pharmacy operations, PBM, healthcare consulting, or equivalent healthcare roles. A strong grasp of pharmacy workflows within payer and provider environments is essential. Practical experience with formulary management, utilization management, and prior authorization processes is mandatory. Proficiency in analyzing pharmacy utilization, cost, and performance data is necessary. A solid understanding of pharmacy regulations, medication safety, and compliance is required, alongside exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with U.S. healthcare payers, PBMs, providers, specialty pharmacy organizations, knowledge of specialty drug management, and familiarity with HIPAA and CMS pharmacy guidelines.
