As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be embedded within digital and AI use case delivery squads. Your non-coding role will focus on translating, shaping, validating, and governing subsurface analytics and AI solutions across the upstream value chain. You'll operate within an Agile environment, supporting the end-to-end delivery of subsurface use cases.

Key responsibilities include facilitating discovery workshops to capture subsurface needs and value drivers, drafting structured documentation for use cases, and ensuring alignment across subsurface-to-production workflows. You will translate subsurface requirements into technical inputs for delivery teams, providing domain expertise for analytics and AI solutions.

Validate analytics and AI outputs for engineering accuracy, escalate concerns, and engage with stakeholders to gather feedback. Support pilot deployments and phased rollouts, coordinate feedback cycles, and assist in preparing client-ready narratives. Contribute to governance artifacts, playbooks, and ensure the credibility and usability of engineering data and model outputs.

We are seeking candidates with 3-6 years of upstream Oil & Gas experience, possessing strong subsurface depth in Reservoir, Production, or Petroleum Engineering. A practical understanding of subsurface workflows, including uncertainty handling and data quality, is essential.

Exceptional communication and documentation skills are required to translate engineering concepts effectively to diverse teams. Demonstrated experience in cross-functional delivery spanning engineering, operations, and digital teams is crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Petroleum Engineering is mandatory, along with experience in Integrated Oil Company (IOC) environments like Exxon Mobil, Shell, or BP.
